DIY Halloween photograph album

by Kate

My friend Núria from Scrapbook Mania recently created a stunning album for her Halloween photographs and I’m so excited to share it with you today! If you’re feeling crafty and would like to create a similar album, Núria has shared a step-by-step tutorial over on her YouTube channel. You’ll need some kraft folders, black cardstock and foam, mirror card, ribbons and some buttons (along with some doodles!) to create your own Halloween album masterpiece!

Here’s the cover of the completed album, I love the cute little buttons and ribbons on the spine and those googly eyes peeking out from the haunted house!

The details inside the album are just as spectacular, this fabulous pop-up of the haunted house and spooky characters is amazing! You can see all the pages in the album (and how all the pop-ups work!) in this walkthrough video.

The album is packed with lots of extra flaps, envelopes and sliders to house all the photos and memorabilia.

Núria added lots of interactive details to the album, like this witchy pop-up along with what I think is probably my favourite page in the whole album – the mirrored “who is this monster” page! I can imagine kids getting quite a giggle from this page as they look through the album.

If you’d like to make this album yourself, you can follow along with the video tutorial (I’ve watched this video a couple of times just to enjoy Núria’s crafty prowess!). If you do make your own version, I would LOVE to see what you come up with so please get in touch to share your project. Many thanks to Núria for making my doodles looks this good and for giving me permission to share this AMAZING album here!

If you’re in the mood for even more Halloween crafting inspiration, you might like to check out the fabulous notebook and pop-up card Núria created last year too!
