A little while ago I came across an amazing hybrid project on YouTube that took my breath away and I’m so excited to share it with you today! I have a bit of a soft spot for hybrid projects created with my illustrations, it makes me happy to know that what started as a sketchbook drawing (and then became a digital image) becomes un-digitised again by someone halfway around the world printing it onto paper! I love the idea of the drawings coming full circle and back to their papery roots.
This October Daily notebook and 3-D Halloween card were created by the super-talented Núria from Scrapbook Mania, if you’re a fan of hybrid crafting you’ll want to check out her inspirational YouTube channel for tutorials on how to make these projects and many more!
October Daily notebook
Núria put together this wonderful journal to record all her October memories! It’s a simple stapled book, but Núria printed patterns and doodles onto the pages to make a unique, personalised journal. She even printed some of my Spooky Overlays onto vellum paper to create decorative transparent pages. Other printed pages were embellished with doodles and Núria also printed some extra illustrations to decorate her journal throughout the month, all stored in a handy little pocket in the back page. This is such a fun project, I love it!

3D Halloween Card
Núria also put together this fun (if slightly spooky!) pop-up Halloween card using the same digi supplies, I love how the bat jiggles about when you open the card! We don’t give or receive Halloween cards but I have to say that I would LOVE to have a card like this this Halloween!

Many thanks to Núria for giving me permission to share these fabulous crafts here! I hope they inspire you to use your digi-supplies in your crafting too!
