I’m so excited to share another project from my amazingly talented friend Núria with you today – you might remember her fabulous Christmas Junk Journal from last year (and her Halloween projects from the year before that!)

For Christmas this year she created this wonderful recipe junk journal that’s the perfect place to keep all those festive family recipes!

The journal features lots of pages, envelopes and pockets to store Núria’s favourite recipes and cuttings from magazines, along with space to write her own recipes or to add photos of delicious dishes.

This is such a lovely, simple project to make and something that could be added to year after year when you try a new dish. It’s also a great way to use and recycle scraps of coloured paper, cardboard, tags and envelopes to create something personal and unique. I love the idea of bringing out this journal every December and flicking through the pages, reliving festive memories and deciding what to cook!

Núria decorated her journal with patterned papers, washi tape, ribbon and also printed some of the doodles from my Festive Fare and Sweet Treats packs to add to her pages and to make into tags.

You can watch a full flip through of this lovely journal over on Núria’s YouTube channel and see all the other fun touches she added throughout.

Many thanks again to Núria for allowing me to feature this project, Merry Christmas and Feliz Navidad!
