Von Marie’s Hey Sweetie candy party bags

by Von Marie

Hello everyone. Von Marie here with my latest project. I chose to make some Fun Candy Party Bags. This candy is a fun one and a favorite and I couldn’t resist making them with my bags. You can make them for any occasion too.

I really liked the Sweet As Candy Stamps. I printed out 4 of these candy images, one was close to the edge and didn’t get the full image printed but that’s okay it didn’t bother me. If that happens you can use a black pen to draw in the line or print it again.

I started coloring my candy which was so fun. I used my Copic Markers and tried coloring according to the candies. I did eat some as I was doing this also, which made it more fun.

I fussy cut my candy images once I was done coloring.

I used a box die from my stash and cut out 2 of them in pink cardstock 110 pounds and pattern paper 85 pounds, as I was going to make two of these fun candy party bags. I used double sided strong tape to put them together. If you don’t have a paper bag die, usually you can find some party bags at stores that are great too.

I did cut out a stitched rectangle die in white cardstock 110 pounds and ink blended it with some yellow Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink. The sentiment was cut out using a banner die that I cut out with blue cardstock 65 pounds. The sentiment reads “Hey Sweetie.”

My boxes are complete with candy and some party shred that is probably from Easter some time ago.

I had so much fun making these party bags. I like putting together some inexpensive treats and making a cute bag with them. It makes people smile and my family enjoys them too. These bags can be used for other small desserts or small gifts too.

Until Next Time!
