Sasha’s origami papercraft fan

by Sasha

Hello everyone! Sasha here. Today I’m sharing an easy-to-make origami fan, just in time for summer! I used the Weekend at Home Digital Papers to make this project. This is such an easy project and a great way to use digital patterned papers in new ways! And also a perfect way to help cool off this summer!

I started by printing one of the patterned papers from the Weekend at Home Digital Papers onto printer paper. I printed it double-sided so that the design would appear on both sides of the fan. Once printed, I trimmed off the white border.

To create the fan, I folded the paper accordion-style, making sure each fold was as even as possible, flipping it back and forth and folding it to match the previous fold.

Once the entire paper was folded, I folded the fan in half and added glue along the center edge. I pressed both sides together to form the classic fan shape.

And that’s it! A quick and easy paper craft using the Weekend at Home Digital Papers.

Thanks for reading. See you next time!

About Sasha

Hi there! I’m Sasha, a cardmaker and crafter from Ontario, Canada. Although I have always been crafty, I discovered my love for paper crafting in early 2020 (and cardmaking a little bit later), and I have not looked back since!
