Introducing the Little Stitchers range of cross stitch kits for kids

I’m excited to share all the details of a project I have been working on for a little while now – I’ve joined forces with the lovely team at Bothy Threads to launch a collection of cross stitch kits for kids! Bothy Threads is a family run business based in the beautiful Lake District here in the UK. They create gorgeous tapestry and cross stitch craft kits in a wide variety of styles and designs and I’m so thrilled to be the newest artist to join them!

The new collection is grouped into kits suitable for different age ranges with recommended ages from 6 to 14 years old. (I think they would also be fun for those of us significantly older than 14 and who are more than a little rusty with our stitching skills!)

Here’s a peek at some of the “Hop” range for youngest stitchers, you might recognise some of the characters here!

I really love these little bookmarks, I think they are the perfect project for younger kids and beginners stitchers to make! Or older stitchers like me who have barely picked up a needle since leaving school… The finished monster bookmarks could also double as little puppets for story telling and plays!

The Skip range is designed for progressing stitchers and aimed at 8 to 12 year olds. This range includes characters stitched onto colourful Aida fabric to create these lovely little finished pieces:

Finally, the Jump range is aimed at older kiddos (10-14 years old) and includes some more complex characters and patterns, again on the lovely coloured Aida:

The kits include everything you need to make the finished piece including threads, needle, instructions (and lollipop sticks for the bookmarks!) and would make lovely presents for the crafty kids in your life! Or for yourself… 😉
