Hello everyone! Betsy here sharing this adorable bunny card! Warmer weather is coming and all the little animals come out of their winter hiding places. I’ll be using the Hoppy Easter Stamp Set for this card project. It’s so versatile! Let me show you how I made my project!

I chose my background paper and composed my images. I only used 2 of the images in the set…so many options. I also made a sentiment that is actually a line from a movie and seems very appropriate! Too cute!

I had this die in my stash that I wanted to use. So I printed out my images and used the die to cut the main focal. I hadn’t realized that it was a frame and didn’t leave the middle intact. So, the frame was from die cutting the image and then I die cut a piece of blue dot paper. I also die cut the sentiment out of the white and then again out of the blue paper to put beneath the white.

I started the coloring with the dirt. I used my Copics and did stippling…making dots with different shades of brown. I did not color any of the dirt solidly.

I next colored the grass and feet. I didn’t go really dark with any of my mixes. I wanted to keep the vibe light.

All that was left to color was the bunny butt. I used warm grays for this. I am really partial to brown bunnies, but I felt that with the dirt it wouldn’t look right.

All of my pieces were ready to assemble.

I fussy cut image and left a very narrow white border around the image. I adhered my sentiment in the lower left corner. I added a fluffy tail to the bunny. A cotton ball would have worked best for this but I didn’t have any, so I used a piece of quilt batting. I added tiny butterfly sequins and my card was finished!

This was a relatively easy card to put together and it came out so adorable. I hope I’ve inspired you to give it a try!
Til next time…
