Hello everyone! Sasha here. With graduation season upon us, it’s the perfect time to create something meaningful to celebrate all the hard work and milestones achieved. Today, I’m sharing a slimline graduation card featuring the Graduation Digital Stamp Set.

I started by first uploading a few images from the Graduation Digital Stamp Set into Cricut Design Space. From here, I can then plan accordingly and size the images appropriately. I also used the Cricut software to create a sentiment for my card that says, “Congrats, Grad!” Once ready, I printed the images onto 100lb Hammermill Cardstock – an alcohol marker-friendly paper and cut them using my Cricut cutting machine. You can also use any word-processing software, such as Microsoft Office or Google Docs, to size and print your images.

Once all the images were cut, I used the following Ohuhu alcohol markers to colour the images:
- Books: B270, B260, B250, B220, R8, R3, R2, R1, G7, G470, G270, G240, E210, E280
- Graduate: NGO7, NGO6,CG070, CG050, CG030, CG020, EE370, E310, E280, E240, E220, E210, E130
- Stars: Y070, Y050, Y040, Y030

As for the background, I ink-blended a yellow gradient using yellow ink onto a slimline card base, which measures 3.5 inches by 8.5 inches. For this, I used Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide. I also lightly splatter the background using bleed-proof white ink. Since the stars will make up most of the background, I decided to keep the background simple so that the stars could be the stars of the show! At least for the background, anyway.

With all the elements ready, I began assembling the card. Referring back to my original layout in Cricut Design Space, I glued everything down in layers: first, the stars, then the stack of books, followed by the graduate, and finally, the sentiment. Once everything was in place, I trimmed off any overhanging pieces to clean up the edges.

And there you have it! A heartfelt graduation card ready to celebrate one of life’s big milestones! Whether you gift it alongside a present or mail it as a surprise, a handmade card like this is a thoughtful way to show just how proud you are.

Thanks for reading. See you next time!
