Today I’m sharing these super simple Valentines favours that I recently made with my daughter using my Colour in Valentines printables. The Valentines are sized at approx 3×4 inches, perfect for pocket scrapbooking, making lunchbox notes, gift tags, cards and more!

We printed the Valentines onto heavy white cardstock, cut them out leaving a small border and then my daughter coloured them using her favourite coloured pencils! You could also use markers, crayons, paint or any other art material of your choice. Younger children might find it easier to colour the Valentines before cutting them out.

You can also print onto coloured paper for a really quick and easy, colouring-free option (perfect if you’re making a lot of favours at once!). We printed ours onto some baby pink card for some variety.

We decided to attach the labels to some lovely striped gift bags full of Valentine’s sweeties. We just used a small stapler to attach them but you could use glue for a stronger finish or some decorative washi tape to add a bit more pizazz!

You could also cut out the tags leaving a bigger border, punch a hole at the top and use some nice decorative string or ribbon to tie the tag on to your gift.

This was such a fun project to do together, we made lots of ‘punny’ Valentine’s party bags with a fun bit of colouring thrown in! If you and your kids make them too, I hope you have as much fun as we did!
Now, where did I put those spare sweets…
