How do you make a cup of coffee better? By adding a cupcake – of course! Hello everyone!

Today I’ll be sharing this cute coffee break card using the Coffee and Cupcakes digital stamps. I love the designs in this digital stamp set! I composed my design in the computer and placed a piece of digital paper from my stash behind the elements of the card design to create the coffee style background.

Before coloring the image, I used a rectangle die to trim my panel. I do this because it gives me a better sense of how the finished product will look.

I had a pretty good idea of what colors I wanted to use. I love turquoise and brown and I needed a red, so I used coral pink red shades.

Copic colors used: E57, E59, E55, E53, R32, R35, R37, BG01, BG05, BG07, BG10

Once the coloring was done I mounted this colored panel which was 3 ¾” x 5” and mounted it onto some coordinating turquoise card stock that measured 4” x 5 ¼” and then attached these to a kraft A2 size card base. I used some glitter glue on the cupcake, the heart on the mug and my hearts above the mug. I used Glossy Accents on the cherry and this card was done!

This card was quick and so fun to make – especially if you love sparkle!!! I hope I’ve inspired you to create a sparkly card to give to a friend!
Til next time…
