Betsy’s A Million Thanks card

by Betsy Birge

Hello everyone!  A new year starting and we’re off to great start by sharing this beautiful thank you card using the Winter Florals digital stamps.  With so many elements, it’s easy to put them together!

I arranged my florals in the computer and printed it out onto white card stock.  I did a lot of flipping and turning and sizing with these elements to get them where I wanted!

I googled winter floral palette to choose my colors.  I should have chosen my paper at this point, but I really did know where I was going with this.  I started coloring my images trying to keep the colors a bit muted.

After I finished coloring, I fussy cut the image leaving a very narrow white border.  Copic colors used:  G20, YG03, YG13, YG21, YG01, Y21, Y26, Y28, B0000, E11, E08, YR24, E74, E18, E23, E43, B72, B75

I found some paper in my stash right away!  It incorporated the gold tones and muted cool colors perfectly!  The stripe pattern along the bottom could also have gone along the side.  But I kept it at the bottom.  I also die cut a few flags from the left over bits and glued them to the top right.

I die cut the base panel and adhered it to my side folding A2 white card base.  I popped up the floral focal with foam tape.  My sentiment came from my stash.  I added a bit of metallic pen work to the insides of the white flowers and then added ombre glitter drops.  And that finished my card project!

I hope you give this a try!  It’s fun to pick out a color palette online and then color your image!

Til next time…
