I dusted off my scissors and whipped up some new Christmas bag toppers this week after I finished working on my Document Your December doodles! These Reindeer Noses were inspired by my love of Maltesers. No reindeer were harmed in the making of these treat bags, but I have to admit that not all the Maltesers survived…… I’m sorry, I just couldn’t help myself. Nom nom nom!

There are two different sized toppers in the pack, one is 7 inches wide, the other 4 inches wide. (I resized them down to 6 inches and 3.5 inches when I printed them out to fit the bags that I had!) In the download you’ll find jpeg versions of each so you can easily resize as necessary, along with PDF ready-to-print versions.
To download a zip file including jpeg versions (so you can edit the size of the toppers using image editing software such as Photoshop) and PDF versions please click here:

I added some Glossy Accents on to the reindeer nose to give it some extra shine and to fill the bags I used the Maltesers that I managed to stop myself eating and red gobstoppers (I got my gobstoppers from The Sweet House - they were very helpful and happily supplied with a bag full of red Rudolph noses for me!). Rudolph himself came from my December Doodads doodles:
I hope you enjoy the bag toppers! I thought they’d make great little party favours, or class gifts – they’re so quick and easy to put together (especially if you don’t spend half your time eating the brown noses…)

Sooo cute! I wonder where I can find red ones here. Thanks!!
What a great idea! Thank you very much
Thanks, Katie! Very cute and fun! We get Maltesers in Penang so that’s nice. I’m wondering what you used for the red ones?
I used red gobstoppers for the red Rudolph noses! I got mine from a UK online store, I hope you can find something similar where you are!
Aha! Ok, I was starting to get miffed at how other countries get better candy than we do!
Awesome, thanks!
thank you so much for this! very cute!
These are gorgeous, thank you so much!
Awesome! Thanks so much, I love your printables and the kit too! I had already planned to make these treat bags this Christmas, after seeing it on Pinterest. You just made things easy for me!
What are the red ones? I’ve never seen red malt balls before.
Hi Julie, the red ones are red gobstoppers (not maltesers!). I managed to find some roughly the same size as a malteser / malt ball from an online store here in the UK, hopefully you can find something similar where you are! HTH
Wow – these are so cute! Thank you for your generosity!
Always so amazing, thank you so much, you are very generous!

Oooh yummy, they sound GOOD!
For some reason I can’t download the bag toppers?
Hey Susan, I’m sorry you’re having problems downloading the bag toppers. If you click on the big green text, “>> REINDEER NOSES BAG TOPPERS DOWNLOAD < <” the download should begin and then you will need to extract the zip file. Please contact me if you are still having problems.
I can’t seem to download this either. Could you email it to me please? They are soon cute!! brandimc@hughes.net
Where did you get the cello bags from, and what size are they?
Hey Michelle, I’ve had these little plastic bags in my stash for a while now so I am not sure where I got them from I’m afraid. It was probably a UK craft shop! The big one I used is 6 inches wide, the small one 3.5 inches (I resized the bag toppers to fit my bags, the toppers themselves are 7 and 4 inches wide). You could use any small craft bag and just resize the toppers to fit.
I got 100 6×4 bags at Michael’.s. So bag toppers would be resized to 4 inches wide.
Cute! Cute! Cute! Thanks so much, Kate!
