Von Marie’s wrapping paper

Hello everyone. Von Marie here with my latest project. I thought it would be fun to make some wrapping paper and with these cute bugs from the Minibeast Parade Stamps.

I started picking out bugs such as Lady Bugs, Dragon Flies, and bees. So much fun. I would copy and paste as many as I can to fill up a full page of white cardstock 110 pounds. I then printed it again. 

I then started coloring my bugs with my colored pencils.

All you need is a few colors and just have fun coloring. You can even come back or color while watching a movie. I later used some glitter gel pen on the Dragon Flies wings and a gray pencil on the bees wings for fun.

I decided to place a few craft goodies in this box I had in my stash. So wrapping it will be fun using this bug paper.

I had to overlap my 2 papers but that was okay. I also used some strong tape. If I do this again I would use a light paper weight. Like the wrapping papers you buy, those use light weight paper.  My box stayed closed and that’s what matters as I was worried it would not.

I had extra bug paper and colored it up to be a tag on my wrapped box.  It’s really cute. I attached it with a Zig Zag trim ribbon. You can write a message on the back of the bee.

I absolutely love how this wrapping paper and tag came together. I love all the bugs in the Digital Stamp Set Minibeast Parade Stamps. I hope you check it out and create some wrapping paper wouldn’t that be fun for the Holidays.
