Favourite Summer scrapbook pages

We’re in the last few weeks of the school year here now and we’re looking forward to the long lazy days of summer (and hoping that the notorious British weather cooperates!) so today I wanted to share some Summer Team Favourite layouts with you! “There’s something about Kate’s doodles that sparks emotion in people! Every page I make with Kate’s stuff always makes me happy. Every time I look at this page I smile. I made this page in the middle of winter for the Month of Challenges at the Lilypad & it was a huge hit with the community! It’s the lyrics to a song: “Wishing I was, knee-deep in the water somewhere got the blue sky breeze and it don’t seem fair, only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair.” I was dreaming about summer or some place warm, and Kate’s doodles were the perfect elements to go along with the lyrics!”

“I had my daughter help me choose for this one, as I had several summer layouts that I love! For this layout, I knew I HAD to scrap about how insanely hot it gets here in the summers (typically 3 digits for days and weeks!!) and what all the “locals” do to beat the heat. It’s my daughter’s favorite, as she’s sitting here in the midst of a rain storm wishing for that heat so she can head back to the waterpark :)”

“Growing up during the Summers, our family vacation was camping. After High School, during the summers, my friends & I would go out east on Long Island and camp for a week. Fun and fond memories of those special summers!!!”
