Spring is finally here in north west England, the daffodils are blooming and we have even seen some blue skies and sunshine lately! To celebrate the long-awaiting arrival of one of my favourite season of the year, I asked the team to share with me their favourite spring time layouts. Whatever the weather, or season in your part of the world, I hope you enjoy this spring-filled inspiration!
Spring Swing by Keela
“This is one of my all time favorites! I love the title with all the doodles!”
Lucky by Kirstie
“I love the look on my daughters face in this layout. This four leaf clover in the photo was actually her third one for that week and she couldn’t believe that she had found another one.”
Irish Blessings by Rebecca
“This is one of my favorite layouts… these photos really show the happy personality of my son. The Irish Blessing really tells what I hope for him!”
April Showers by Melanie
“This is one of my favourites! I love the colours of Kate’s Spring doodles, and all the animals with smiley faces are just so cute! I got the idea to use one of the pocket templates for a regular layout. The doodled edges add a sense of playfulness to the page!”
Easter Season by Karina
“I love making these created scenes because I use many doodles!”
Leporiphobia by Bethany
“Every time I look at this page, I smile at the memories that come rushing in. Those precious few months when I was able to focus on just my sweet daughter before my son was born. She was normally such a joyful baby, but was so terrified of this Easter bunny that was at a friend’s party. I love that someone captured this sweet moment of her clinging to protection in my arms.”
Garden by Bethany
“I love using quotes on my layouts in place of journaling. They definitely help out when I’m stuck with writer’s block. This page is such a great memory of a family project. The strawberries that we planted provided food for the deer rather than enjoyment for our family, but the planning, building, and planting of the garden is a memory that will be sweet in our minds for a long time.
Kate’s doodles are so perfect for accenting everyday memory pages as well as filling in for pictures that we may be missing when wanting to tell a story. I love that for both my Easter bunny page and my garden page, she had just the right doodles that I needed for accenting the layouts :)”
Spring Clean by Kirstie
“I really enjoy creating scenes with Kate’s doodles and its a great opportunity to mix so many element packs together into one page.”
My Pot of Gold by Amy
“I love the way this page came out. I waited much longer than most of my friends to find my ‘Mr. Right’ and start my family, but it was worth it and I truly do feel like I found a pot a gold as all my dreams have come true :)”
2015 Graduation by Jenni
“I live in a college town, so around here “Spring” means “Graduation.” For the past 9 years, my husband and I have been “college parents” to students from out of town. We’ve had anywhere from 1 to 16 kids that we claimed as “ours” at any given time. Graduation is always a sad time for me, having to say good-bye to some of the kids, knowing I may not see them again on this side of heaven.
Last year was particularly special because two of our graduates had been with us for three years, and the other three grads were all friends (or friends-of-friends) who had been brought into the clan by those first two. (And after this year, that entire group pictured above will be gone.)
This LO is also special because it’s the first one I did after joining Kate’s CT.
Daffodils by Christa
“Daffodils remind me of my Mom which is why this is a favorite:”
Tree by Christa
“And this one if a favorite just because it was fun!”
I Like to Create Pretty Things by Kristina
“I really loved these flowers for clustering. I was practising my clustering in this layout, and loved how it came out. Flowers, the dragonfly, the colors… this is the spring I wish I had… rather than the immediate summer my area of Arizona seems to get!”
