Sasha’s So Sweet fruitilicious card tutorial

by Sasha

Hello everyone! Sasha here. Today I’m sharing a fun and fruity card featuring the new Fruitilicious Tapes. Summer may almost be over, but these tapes are too fun not to use! And they make for the perfect background!

hand-made greetings card with strips of different fruit papers and a bold so sweet sentiment set on a marble table

To start, I uploaded the Fruitilicious Tapes into Microsoft Word. I formatted and arranged the tapes to form a simple yet cohesive background. I printed them onto regular printer paper and then trimmed them to fit my card.

I then adhered the tape panel to a US A2-sized card using liquid adhesive glue.

As for the sentiment, I cut out a “So Sweet” sentiment using my Cricut Cutting Machine to match the sweet fruit theme of the tapes.

And that’s it! The Fruitilicious Tapes are such a fun and easy way to add lots of colour and pattern to a project, and I love that you can resize and arrange the digital elements to fit whatever project you’re working on.

Thanks for reading. See you next time!

About Sasha

Hi there! I’m Sasha, a cardmaker and crafter from Ontario, Canada. Although I have always been crafty, I discovered my love for paper crafting in early 2020 (and cardmaking a little bit later), and I have not looked back since!
