Sasha’s December Days DIY Advent Calendar

by Sasha

Hello everyone! Sasha here. The holiday season is fast approaching, which means it’s time to start getting into the festive spirit! One of my favourite traditions in December is using a daily Advent calendar. So, let’s create our own! Using the December Days Journalers, I’ve put together a simple Advent calendar that can be filled with small gifts of your choice.

I started by printing the pages I needed from the December Days Journalers pack so that I would have numbers for days 1 through 24. You can choose from a kraft or white background. I went with the white background.

I printed the pages on plain printer paper, but you can also use cardstock for added sturdiness.

After printing, I trimmed all the numbers and glued them onto brown paper bags using a glue stick. I chose brown paper bags because they make it easy to add small gifts.

After filling the paper bags with small gifts, simply fold over the top, secure it with tape, and place the bags in a festive box or basket to be ready to open throughout the month of December!

And there you have it! A super easy way to put together your own Advent calendar!

Thanks for reading. See you next time!

About Sasha

Hi there! I’m Sasha, a cardmaker and crafter from Ontario, Canada. Although I have always been crafty, I discovered my love for paper crafting in early 2020 (and cardmaking a little bit later), and I have not looked back since!
