I’m wrapping up my anniversary celebrations with another sticker giveaway! These vinyl stickers are really fun – you can use them for paper crafting but they’re also durable enough to stick on book covers, drink cups, laptop cases and more. I’ve gone for an anniversary / birthday / celebration theme this time with these happy little monsters bearing gifts and cake. You can’t go wrong with gifts and cake!
I’m hosting two giveaways – one here on the blog and another over on Instagram, you’re very welcome to enter both if you’d like!
Ten random winners picked from the entries (five from the blog entries and five from Instagram) will each receive a set of these colourful monster stickers.

The giveaway is open worldwide, although there may be a delay in receiving your prize due to postal restrictions. (Some of the stickers from my Christmas giveaway still haven’t made it to their new homes, ugh!) If I’m unable to post to you straight away I’ll hang on to your prize until restrictions are lifted so you won’t miss out.

Entry closes on 11.59pm GMT Thursday 18th February 2021. The winners will be announced on this post (and the Instagram winners on my Instagram post) on the 19th of February.

Happy Anniversary and the best wishes from germany. My students and I love your designs so much. Thank you for sharing :-).
Happy Anniversary Kate, Christmas is always my favourite, love your work.
Rene from OZ x
Hello and happy design anniversary! My favorite birthday celebration is on all of my children’s birthdays, I call them and sing “Happy Birthday” to them!
Happy, happy Anniversary from Germany, I like to eat my favorite cake with my family.
Happy anniversary! Thanks for all your nice graphics. I use them a lot in my lessons. Thank you for your great work. Good wishes from Germany ๐
Happy, happy Anniversary from Switzerland, too! I will give this sticker to my son. He’s birthday is the 17 of February.
Happy anniversary and lots of good wishes from Germany! Thank you for sharing your great work with us.
In my class we sing a song, which the birthday-kid can choose. Then he gets a little Present from me and plays our birthday lottery. (He can win “no homework” or “choose a game in maths” …) And he gets a candle on his desk (LED of course) for the whole day ๐
They really like it and so do I.
In class the birthday child chooses a song, the sweets, cakes or whatever the child brought , are eaten, and the child can choose what to play during breaktime.
eating out with my family on my birthday
My favorite way to celebrate my birthday is with friends. My birthday is in March and everything shut down on the very day last year. I hope I get to meet with my friends in 2022 because this year it doesn’t look promising. Maybe I should think of a new tradition … maybe a Zoom meeting!!
We have a large family and it’s often difficult to get everyone together for Birthdays. When we do get everyone together, we like to ask the Birthday person what their hopes, dreams and aspirations are for the coming year. It is fun to cheer them on during the year and celebrate when they reach one of their goals!
When my children were small they always picked what we had for supper and what movie we watched. Always made their special day more special!
Cake! It’s always all about the cake for birthdays! Thanks for the chance to win these super cute sticker. Love your monsters!
About 5 years ago, my sister-in-law got this really big dog birthday card that you wore like a hat. Now when it is your birthday, you have to wear the dog hat. After so many years and so many birthdays, the pup is getting a little ragged, but he still gets used.
I am a primary school teacher and in my monster class (our mascot is a little blue monster called Malu) we took pictures on their first day of school. Now when the birthday of one of them is coming up, we take out the old picture and put them on the blackboard for a whole week. This way everybody knows who is the “special person” this week and it is always a lot of fun for all of us to see how they developed from beeing a young child to becoming a teenager. On their actual birthday, we put a special candle on their table and of course sing for this child.
I have lots of birthday/anniversary traditions ๐ At school there is the time together we celebrate the birthdays, the student sits on a chair in front of the others and we sing the birthday song. Then everyone comes over and makes a wish for the birthday child. At home we always go out in a restaurant to eat something special ๐
My best birthday when we got our new puppy.
Easter we always do an easter egg hunt, which started when i was a child 31 years ago and now we do the same for my son, this originated from my aunt who was always the best at being creative with us as kids. Our easter egg hunts travel all over the farm and its a massive event we really enjoy it
We have a candy plate instead of a cake and everybody has to guess what the present could be before opening. And we wake up our family members singing a birthday song.
As I am a primary school teacher I celebrate 22 birthdays every year ๐ We sing a birthday song for each other and have cake together. Additionally the birthday boy/girl will throw a dice. Having a 6 means: no homework for everybody today ๐
We have a birthday breakfast with a decorated table, balloons, electric lights, confetti and of course fresh bread and a cake.
We celebrate birthdays with the whole family and friends????????. Sitting together, having good food and drinks. We miss this way to celebrate during the pandemic ????
Our favorite birthday traditions are first, you get to choose the kind of cake you want (which I make) and second, you get to choose what we have for dinner on your birthday and no one else can complain that they don’t want it.
We prepare breakfast and wake the birthday “child” with a song, bringing the first present, a candle, the favourite morning drink and something sweet to him/her.
When I married my husband, we didn’t have a lot of money. So for birthdays and anniversary we’d go to the local Hallmark store, pick out the card we’d get the other, give it to them, with a hand written note written beforehand, read it & put the card back. It is a lot of fun and we have a ball doing it to this day. Our daughter loves it because we get to read a lot of different ones to make the day that much more special. You’d be amazed at how many people from the store love to see us & know what we’re doing.
My favorite Anniversary Tradition was that we would go to the Casino and get a bunch of $5 chips and go to the Roulette table and take turns betting on red or black and a few other bets until we amassed a nice little pot, then before we quit for the night, we would play $5 on each of 5 numbers significant to us, our Anniversary, his birthday, my birthday, his lucky number and my lucky number. Whether we won or lost it was always a night to remember and we always left a little ahead in the wallet.
We celebrate birthdays and “half” birthdays with our children: For example we celebrate 5 years old and then in six months we celebrate 5 >and half years old etc.
When I was growing up, I always woke up to a freshly picked rose from our rose bush thanks to my mama.
We have the favorite meal and kind of birthday cake for the birthday family member and three little birthday figures that are at the person’s place at dinner–a birthday care bear, a cute figure holding a Happy Birthday sign and a birthday Smurf figure!
Our favorite birthday tradition is making the Barefoot Contessa Chocolate Mocha Cake for a birthday party at home! I also love the new tradition of birthday parades during the Covid pandemic. Families put posters and banners on their cars and drive by the child’s house to wave and sing happy birthday!
Happy Anniversary! One of our favourite traditions is cake (of course) ! Lately with restrictions in Canada for gatherings we have drop off cake and gifts and shoot confetti cannons near the door to celebrate the occasion. Lots of fun! and mess too. We are still finding confetti bits since January around the house!!
On birthdays in my parents family and in our family we ask the birthday person to choose all of the food that they want for that day — this may mean hot fudge sundaes for breakfast, McDonalds for lunch and eating out at their favorite restaurant topped off by their favorite flavored cake and ice cream! So fun!
My mum always bought some beautiful flowers and cooked my favourite pasta for me when I was a child… and she still does, not the cooking but the flowers.
Growing up my mom always cooked our favorite meal and a cake…miss those times…thank you for all your beautiful art.
CAKE! Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting!
The birthday person picks out their favorite restaurant
At midnight on my daughter’s birthday, we go out to an all night breakfast place for midnight pancakes. This year, during quarantine, we kept the tradition by making them at home.
Happy Anniversary! As a child Mum would always make me my favourite cake which had three layers (chocolate, strawberry and vanilla) with marshmallow icing! That and getting to choose dinner were our traditions ????????
On our birthdays we always get whatever we want for supper followed by the cake of our choice ๐
We don’t have a real tradition. I think spending time ist the most important
We are hissing a little birthday flag.
We got out for dinner on our birthday’s with the family..
In our family, the one having the birthday always picks the restaurant for the night’s dinner. Unfortunately, covid has broken our traditions since we no longer dine out.
I celebrate as a teacher the birthday of the children in class. The Birthday child will sit on a lion stool as we are the lion class and will receive birthday wishes from all other children of the class ??????
Joyce P Lansky has the exact same tradition that I have with my family & the same affects from COVID 19.
Since I was a little child my family and me had always breakfast together, it didn’t matter if someone had to get up early. When I walked down the stairs the table has been prepared with cake and presents. I loved it and I want to continue the tradition with my own family. And, of course, I always could decide what it want to have for dinner on this day.
We always celebrate birthdays with a special family dinner. My siblings come over, and we cook or order in. It’s simple, but lovely to spend time together. ????
The stickers are AWSOME!!! Love them all!
I love to create special birthday parties for my son. When he was younger he had a birthday party on a farm and twice we had a party in a special museum. It is an old pharmacy and the children were allowed to mix dried leaves and flowers for special teas. Best of all, the could produce peppermint “pills” with the old machines. He loved it so much that he wanted to go there two years in a row.
I love the children’s birthdays best of all and love celebrating with a birthday cake and lots of balloons.
I love spending time with my family ๐ <3
I love to decorate the living room and dining table. There are balloons and a lot of confetti ๐ (not so nice to clean, but everybody loves it!). and of course: everybody gets their favourite cake!!
Hi Kate, I do love Christmas with the grandkids, it is also No. one son’s birthday on Christmas eve so a double whammy.
Many thanks
Rene from OZ x
My birthday is close to Christmas so we tend to be pretty busy and surrounded by other treats, so the thing we do to celebrate is go out and see Christmas lights, mostly by driving around, sometimes walking through the display at the nearby zoo.
Again you made some awesome and wonderfull drawings.
LUV the monsters, they are great to make birthday cards for my two grandsons.
The oldest one loves monsters and Dinosaur.
Thank you for doing this lovely give-a-way Kate.
Even though our children are already 15 and 12, they get the dining room decorated with balloons for their birthday, a cake made and the birthday train with candles placed on the table . Once I forgot the decoration and there was a big disappointment ๐
For my children I produce a birthday picture with the age and the theme of this years birthday every year. Its such a nice memory for all of us ??
Our favorite birthday tradition is to create a birthday party bigger and better than the year before and really get the neighbors talking! We always have our parties at our house and do all the decorations ourselves. Much fun is had with my kids planning this big event.
At my primary school, we had the awesome ritual where you got the special tablecloth (green velvet) and a little wooden box with sand in it on your table. In the middle of the box was a burning candle and a tiny rake to play in the sand. We aways got a small present from our teacher, and she would read any book you picked for the day. You also wouldn’t get any homework.
It’s not much, but it always made the day super special!
Love these adorable stickers. I love birthdays. It’s a day to shower that special someone with love! When my kids were little, we celebrated by having their favorite meal, playing their game, singing their favorite song, and of course having birthday cake and ice cream of their choice. Now that the kids are older, we still celebrate that day in style. ๐
Some years ago I sewed a golden crown. My children get the crown on their birthday. They love it to take a birthday-picture with our traditional birthday crown. Usually they wear the crown the whole day while they’re at home.
My mum used to decorate the room with a birthday garland. I still love it and I do it every birthday.
My favourite birthday tradition: try a new receipe and bake a delicious cake with fruits; enjoy the sunny weather; celebrate with my favourite friends
My mum is still baking the Birthday cake for me that she made in my childhood ??
Candles, flowers, birthdaysong, birthdaycake and of course presents ????
Having Dairy Queen ice cream birthday cake!
Dear Mrs Hadfield,
I absolutely love your work!! When we celebrate a birthday in class we do a warm shower of nice words which is given to the birthday kid from every classmate. After that I give the birthday child a gummibear for each year on earth. So if you turn eight, you get eight gummibears for your birthday.
For birthday’s we always write down one fun thing to remember from the day and read them the next year to help us live in the happy memories ๐
We also have a birthday table with all the presents and cake with candles. My child also has birthday train with zoo animals and the number of her age.
Spending time with my family and friends ??
Thank you for your wonderful new pet bundle! I love it! ????
My favorite birthday tradition comes after my birthday when I eat the leftover cake for breakfast! After a day of birthday celebrations, it’s so nice to reflect on the day before and relax with yummy food.
We always let the birthday person choose what they want for dinner.
The monsters are so cute! Our tradition is a special song for birthday breakfast.
I love getting a special cake on my bday: mint and chocolate Grasshopper Cake!
I love the birthday table, I get and gibe my husband with all the presents, the cake and of course eith a lot of candles.
Having the delicious chocolate cake my grandma used to make, that now my mom bakes for me.
I am wearing a kid’s crown at school, that plays Happy birthday. My Kids love to press the Play Button all the time.
I love those stickers, who said monsters can’t be cute? My favorite thing about my birthday is waking up and reading the most sweet texts from my boys ages 22 and 20. Not sure if it’s a real tradition but it is to me.
Everyone at the birthday table get’s his or her name written with “cookie letters”. Before the kids (we have 4) may enter the “birthday room” they have to line up on the stairs and we take lots of photos.
I love to be waked up by sparklers. Even if Im twentynine its still a tradition to be videocalled with candles by my parents <3
we always go out to eat for birthdays, i love trying new places.
I love your cliparts, doodles and stickers! In school we do a “warm shower” on the children’s birthdays – so every classmate says something nice like a compliment or a good wish to the birthday child. In the beginning it’s quite hard, but after a few birthdays it’s lovely.
Those stickers are adoreable! My favourite birthday tradition is cake for breakfast!
Oh these little Monsters ๐ my favourite Birthday Tradition is a cake from my husband ??
My Favorite Birthdays are every year My Whole Family gathers at our Favorite Chinese Restaurant and they have a huge Celebration for me.

I love My Family so much and could never think of Celebrating My Special day any other Way.
I love to have birthday – or anniversary-breakfast! It is so cozy and nice to have my beloved ones in the morning with flowers, a huge coffee, pancakes, fruits, juice some chilled jazz vibes and lots of love.
