Gallery Standouts

Today I am sharing some of my favourite recent pages from the Kate Hadfield Designs gallery with you! I hope you will enjoy this selection of pages and projects and that they will inspire you to get creative!

Call the Doctor by mimisgirl

There have been lots of inchies layouts (pages comprising of 1 inch square blocks!) over in the gallery this month after Anne shared a free template and issued a challenge in the forum! This Doctor Who inspired page jumped out at me as soon as I saw it, I love the mixture of elements and lettering against the galaxy style background. This must have taken a lot of time (and space?!!) and dedication to put together!

Wonderland by QuiltyMom

This is another layout that caught my eye straight away in the gallery, the colours are so beautiful controlled here and everything fits together so well! I really like the little row of detail photos across the centre, I often find myself wishing I had more photos like these as I always think they being back so many memories!

Preschool Binder by Stevie

It’s always fun to make personalised covers for albums and binders as this school binder from Creative Team member Stevie shows! I love how the focus is still on the lovely photo, but the doodles add a little touch of fun to the design.

Naomi by Karen

I am a big fan of photoless pages, they are perfect for when you have a story to record but don’t have a photo, or for when you just want to play with papers and elements and experiment in Photoshop! Creative Team member Karen creates wonderful photo-free pages, like this example! The choice of dark background really makes the colourful elements and white text pop, while the doodled outlines help to give structure to the page.

Happy Camper by EHStudios

This layout was actually created using the template from February’s blog challenge, but it was the beautiful handling of colour that drew me to it in the gallery! I love how the pink dress in the photos really pops against the natural greens and browns of the rest of the page and how well controlled the colours are. This is such a beautiful page!

Woof by Iowan

Here’s another photo-less layout that made me smile, this reminds me so much of my own dog who likes to watch through the windows for any passing cats! I love the combination of the crisp white background and the colourful scene Iowan created here.

A Few of my Favourite Things by Bethany

I couldn’t resist including one last inchies layout! This one is by Creative Team member Bethany and is just packed full of detail! It would make a great album cover, or a super piece of wall art for a creative space (I’m imagining it above my desk!) or in a child’s bedroom!
