Hi everyone, I am stepping in for Nicole this month to bring you a new blog challenge! Thank you to everyone who has entered any of the previous challenges, it’s always so exciting for me to see all the different interpretations of the templates and the super pages you create with them pop up in my gallery! And now on to last month’s winner: the random generator picked familyhistoryscrapper as January’s winner, with her lovely Tub Fun page! This month’s template was inspired by my 8 year design anniversary celebrations, hence the “Pieces of Eight” theme! I thought it would be a fun way of illustrating a list of favourites, or for documenting events where you end up with lots and lots of photos!
Here’s what my team came up with using the challenge template, I love all the different interpretations using the same basic design!
The Challenge
- Download the template below. You can use it as is, flip it, resize it, do anything you fancy to make it your own.
Download Pieces of Eight
(download contains PSD, Tiff, png and page file formats)
- Create a digital layout, hybrid layout, or even a card. It can be any theme that you wish. The only requirement is to use Kate Hadfield’s products (your page should consist of at least 50% Kate’s products).
To Enter
- Post your page in Kate Hadfield’s gallery at The Lilypad.
- Stop back and leave a comment on this post, linking us back to your page by midnight EST Feb 28th, 2015.
We will choose a winner randomly from all the entries. Have fun! Can’t wait to see how you use this template!

Happy 8th Anniversary of designing! I am so impressed, that is a lot of years to be a designer. I have seen so many designers come and go and you’ve always been there since I started to even consider digital scrapbooking! Your designs are so fun, so relevant, and so amazing! Thank you for all that you do for your fans. I don’t get to shop very often at all due to my financial situation, but if I could I would be shopping in your store every single week! Hopefully, my situation will change soon and I will be able to honor you by purchasing all the items on my wish list….which is pretty much everything in your store!!
