Hello all, thank you for stopping by! Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter! I am absolutely so in love with all the Easter and Spring stamps that Kate has here on her website that I had to make one more Easter project to share with you!

For this card, I’ve used many of her digital stamps. For the heart outline, I took this from the Bookworms Stamps set. I adjusted the size on a standard A2 size card in my PowerPoint. I added the two bunnies (that are the same) from the Hoppy Easter stamp set. One image was shrunk down to fit in the heart. I copied and pasted the same image, inverted it, and made it slightly smaller. There you go, you now have two bunnies facing each other! I also added Easter eggs from the same stamp set.

Next, I wanted to add the word Easter, and so I used the letters from the December Days Alpha set and printed the image in black. But I wanted the words to sit within something, so I also decided to use the banner from the Bookworms Stamps set.

For the next step, I initially added the leaves and flowers over the heart itself, so that I could get the curves of the stem exactly match the heart curves. I used these from the Springity Spring stamp set. I followed the same idea of inverting the same image. Once I was happy with the lineup, I separated the leaves and flowers and printed them separately. My plan was to color and fussy cut the flora and attach them to the heart to give a bit of dimension.

After working out the details on PowerPoint, I printed this image. I colored the images with Faber Castell Polychromos and OLO markers. I added some butterflies from Sweet November Stamps. I fussy cut the images and attached the leaves and flowers as planned. For the background, I used Spellbinders Floral Splash Cut and Emboss Folder.

I glued the entire heart image on the front of the embossed piece, and the embossed piece on a folded note card. I used some pearl dots in the center of the flowers. I also used enamel dots on the areas that were die-cut from the embossing folder. Lastly, I die-cut the word happy from Elizabeth Craft designs and glued it to the top of the heart.

I loved using this embossing folder as the background for the lovely Easter-themed card. Thank you for stopping by. See you soon!
