To mark my seven year design anniversary this month I’m holding a contest to win a pack of custom doodles! If you’ve ever wanted a kit about specific theme and just couldn’t find it, now’s your chance to enter the contest and have me create your perfect doodle pack for you!

I’m running the contest both here on my blog and over on my Facebook page and will pick a random winner from each. If someone else has already suggested the theme that you would like, don’t worry – everyone who enters with the winning theme will receive the finished custom doodle pack for free! It’s always fun for me to hear what you would like me to draw, I can’t wait to read all your suggestions! Thanks for your support over the past seven years, here’s to the next seven!

Let it Snow!
I’d love to see a “Wonderful Wizard of Oz” set. I’m going to teach the book in a few weeks and right now I’m creating the resources.. there are no beautiful pictures/cliparts/designs to be found.
greeting from Germany π
I’d love a travel set, with stuff like a compass, a passport, car, airplane, train, map,…
Then, as you already covered Harry Potter and Doctor Who I would love a Star Trek themed kit.
Last idea/wish: different profession kits. I’m working in the legal sector, so paragraphs, old big books, items you typically find in court like a wig, a hammer, a court building,… Another profession kits could be work in the medical sector, police, firefighter, office work (think pencils, staplers, copy machines,…),.
I don’t think you have a zoo/wild animals set yet… I’d love to see a giraffe, zebra, lion/lioness, tigers, hippo, different primates, kangaroos, koalas, crocodiles… Maybe an A-Z animal alphabet!
Congrats on your designs anniversary, mine is in March!!
Hi! She has most of those animals already and I LOVE using them to make things for my classroom. Check out her Safari Malarky, Chinese Zodiac, Walk in the Woods, Year of the Tiger, and Monkeying Around. They are precious! It would be fun to have them combined into one massive animals set, though. π
Spa day; fingernail polish, turban, makeup, wine glass, massage table, towels, candles, etc, etc, etc
I love your people, Kate! I’d like a set of “meanies” – grumpy little kids.
maybe a pack for travelers, train, plane, walkers, suitcases, rucksacks, hot air balloons, car, trike, bike, scooter, you name it, we need one. π Would love the pack to have a passport, and some typical scenery, like Eiffel Tower, chinese pagodas, Egyptian pyramids, Statue of Liberty, Mountains, desert, seaside, just generic items to suit travelers.
This is fun!!! ;). A good idea is a 1st Holy Communion set, because God knows I needed one last year!!! LOL!!! And other thing I would love to see here is an Italy Map LOL (What? LOL). I’m working on my photobook about my Europe trip in 2012. I used your England doodles and alpha to crΓΒ©ate the pages for my 3 days in England, I’ll post the pages in the gallery ;). Now I’m working on the Italy part, which is larger because we stayed there for 2 weeks. I saw a drawing of a map of Italy and the things that represent each ΓΒ‘rea. For instance, the Colosseum and the Pope in Rome, Pompeii the Volcano, Verona: Romeo and Juliet, Positano and Capri: beautiful beaches and small houses in the rocks, Naples: the pizza, Florence and Sienna: those sunny landscapes and vineyards…LOL I know, crazy!!! I’m trying to paint it myself, but I know your kit would be magical!!!! ;). Thanks for letting me dream LOL, and keep on creating your amazing doodles!!!
I would love to see a set of classic nursery tales characters–for Little Red Hen, Three Bears, Three Billy Goats Gruff, Three Little Pigs–that sort of thing. There are some “out there” but nothing can touch the quality of your work! I love the outlining and shading in your work–makes it pop off the page instead of fading into the background….. Thanks for your wonderful work!
I would love to see a full fibre craft kit. Knitting, crochet and spinning. With knitting needles, crochet hooks, Tunisian hooks, interchangeables, a spinning wheel. Have a couple of works-in-progress, a journal card (or 2) for project details (project name, started, finished, yarn, problems etc). Notions, like stitch markers, stitch holders, darning needle, blocking mats & wires/pins, scissors, tape measure, needle gauge. Different types of yarn balls (ball, cake, skein), niddynoddy and nostepinne and other bits and pieces.
I know that there are ‘yarn’ kits out there, but I haven’t found one that will work yet. They have crochet flowers and bits of embroidery floss, and nothing I actually want to use.
Thanks for the chance and congrats on 7 years!!!
What a fun contest! Well, since you’ve already covered Doctor Who, what about something along the lines of the best and most short-lived sci-fi series ever made? That’s right, I’m talking about Firefly! You know, the Joss Whedon space cowboy show?? It was amazing and is now looked upon very nostalgically. π
1. Playground/toddler toys/toddler mischief
2. I would love a pug dog in two different colors: black and fawn and more doggy doodles (that doesn’t sound right, does it?
Gonna post here about a ferret. I would be delighted if it were even just one. LOL
Playground Doodles would be great!
I love your work – Happy Anniversary!
I’m an Instructional Technologist in a school district. I would love to see “nerdy” stuff like desktop computers, laptops, iPads, other tablets, students using computers (wearing headsets), etc.
I would also LOVE a Bunco set – our group of teachers has been playing Bunco for 21 years this year. Dice, score cards, snacks, score sheets, lots of happy women sitting at card tables, etc.
Thank you!
Disney World/Disney Cruise themed would be AMAZING! π
Fabulous contest!
How about some (more classical/vintage) fairytale figures?
How about robots? I am a coach of a FIRST (Foundation for the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and we build 120 pound 5 foot tall robots. Each year our high school students build a new robot to play a game with other high school students around the world. Our robots are unique each year and they have their own “personality” and name. I make a scrapbook of the season and it would be amazing to have your doodles to feature the season!
I’d love to have a set for Band and/or Marching band! music instruments, flags, uniforms- hats with plumes, white gloves, shoe covers, cape and baton for the Drum Major
IΓΒ΄d like to have sights of London (Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben …). That would be great for my English lessons. All the best wishes form Germany, Daniela
P.S.: Thank you so much for all your doodles etc. I like to work with them!!!!!
Oh what a great contest!! Thanks so much for doing this.
I’d love to have a Christian/religious Easter set. You did an amazing job with the nativity kit, so Easter would be a great addition.

Rings, mountains, a grey wizardΓ’β¬β’s hat, the outside of a hobbitΓ’β¬β’s house, swords, things written in Elvish & Runes Γ’β¬Β¦ (thatΓ’β¬β’s all I could think of to suggest; IΓ’β¬β’m not very creative!)
I’m reading the Hobbit right now, then moving on to the LOTR books. I went to Wellington, New Zealand last year & did a short Γ’β¬ΛLord of the RingsΓ’β¬β’ movie tour! I would love some of your doodles to help me scrap the tour!

I would have to say my top 4 would be:
1. Disney

I’d like some doodles about aparatus gymnastics with an uneven bar, a balance beam and so on. There are so many little girls out there doing gynmastics and hardly any kits about that theme. Thanks for the chance and good luck and success to you. I love your kits. They are just so fun!
I’d love a Minecraft-themed pack from you!
I had been dying for a Dr. Who themed pack forever and you just made one of those! My number 2 would be a zoo themed pack that includes a panda, a penguin, a gorilla, a zootrain, and some of the lesser known animals. I find lots of zoo kits with giraffes, zebras and elephants, but we have a zillion pictures of the new pandas at our zoo and i can’t find anything that i like to go with them. I’d also love it if the kit came with some doodled animal print papers. I absolutely LOVE your doodle kits! They’re definitely the majority of what I have from The Lilypad. Thanks so much for the contest!
I’d like a sports kit – baseball or basketball. My son loves those two in particular. He’s still young so your cute but not-babyish designs would be perfect for all those photos I’ve got sitting on my hard drive waiting for the perfect kit. Thanks so much for the chance!

Can’t wait to see what people suggest! I second the special needs doodles, but I’d like something that works for autism and other special needs. Puzzle pieces, sign language, visual schedules, a wheel chair, an ipad, things related to a bad day (tantruming child, frustrated parent, ripped up homework, mess on the floor, etc) and the good days (behavior chart with a sticker, beaming child, hug or high 5 of congratulations), word art about looking for answers/therapy/working hard/evaluations/accepting differences, etc.
Prom theme. I’d be willing to provide inspiration. π
Happy Anniversary. I love your art work. I would like to see a theme for vacations to natural attractions in the USA like Yosemite, Yellowstone, Redwoods, etc.
I would like to see a Magic: The Gathering/Dungeons and Dragons kit – elves, dwarves, quests, all that good stuff that isn’t quite covered by the knights and dragons you already have.
Role playing games/dungeons and dragons theme!

Cheerleading doodles!
I can’t express how much I love your doodles Γ’β¬β they just scream to me, no matter what the theme is!
I would love a toddler/prek themed set, like the St. Paddy’s Day Pranks Γ’β¬β all things that a Toddler/Preschooler gets into: toys dumped on the floor, books off a bookcase, paint all over the table when they paint, playdoh all mixed and messy, and so on. π {It seems I can’t have neatly stacked/aligned/placed items anywhere in my house! LOL}
I’d love the cool britannia and I love to see a Dutch version too, with tulips, cowa, windemills, wooden shoes (or a french, Italian etc one)
