Christmas Sticker Giveaway

by Kate

I’m still in love with the Party Animals stickers I had made recently and so when I put my thinking cap on to decide what to do as part of my Black Friday celebrations the answer was obvious – make more stickers! After all, it’s a well known fact that you can never have too many stickers. So to celebrate Small Business Saturday (many thanks to everyone who has supported my teeny-tiny small business over the years!) I’m giving away these Christmas stickers!

I’m hosting a giveaway here on the blog and another over on Instagram – you’re very welcome to enter both if you’d like!

christmas stickers

Ten random winners picked from the entries (five from the blog and five on Instagram) will each receive a set of these festive Christmassy stickers including a Christmas tree, stocking, snowman, penguin and bear bearing gifts!

Christmas stickers

The giveaway is open worldwide. If you’re in Europe your prize should reach you before Christmas. If you’re in the USA or Canada, your prize will probably reach you before Christmas. If you’re anywhere else in the world your prize probably won’t reach you until after Christmas I’m afraid, but I will post it as soon as I can!

penguin christmas sticker

Entry closes at 11.59pm GMT Tuesday 1st December 2020. The winners will be announced on this post (and the Instagram winners on my Instagram post) on the 2nd of December.

I love Christmas time at school. In my class I start every day with candles (fake ones of course), a story and some quiet time. Everything slows down and the kids are getting more and more excited! Na favorite time!

My favorite tradition is watching the kids make “reindeer food” and hearing them argue about whose will be liked better by the reindeer. It’s gotten very competitive over the years; but so far, it appears that the reindeer love all of the food equally????

We watch Christmas movies starting on Thanksgiving, ending New Years.

When I got married, I started a totally new tradition than from what I grew up with. No more big Christmas dinners. Starting on Christmas Eve, our table is loaded with assortment of crackers, chips, deli meats, cheeses, dips and of course Christmas cookies and candies. Do the same for Christmas. Still keep the tradition of opening presents on Christmas Eve. We love having a relaxed Christmas, to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

    Cute stickers!

Our family Christmas tradition in the land of Aus (Australia). Came about a few years ago,as the result of not being able to purchase the family favourite, box of Christmas crackers. These are a must for the table on Christmas day at lunch time.I purchased the ones that were available at the time. Boy were we in for the biggest surprise. One that would bring many years
of enjoyment to my family. When I started setting the table I realised that there was a bonus gift that came with the crackers. It came in the form of a game” Racing Penguins “. Yes I know to normal people that wouldn’t be much, but to my family it was like finding a gold mine. All work stopped so we could play. There is mat that has 6 lines of different colours on it. Along with 6 wind up penguins that have different coloured scarves on. You place the mat on the floor or the table, each gets to pick their favourite penguins. Then wind it up to your liking.place it
carefully in its designated lane .And when the designated starter says go all remove their fingers from the penguins heads. They run off wobbling from side to side down the mat.sometimes they go straight sometimes not so straight.Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. The best part is ,there is so much laughter, noise and merriment. Who would have thought something so simple would bring so much joy to my wonderful family. Christmas is not Christmas without a few rounds of “Racing Penguins .In fact this year before asking when the Christmas tree was being put up .? The question was do we still have the racing penguins .? The answer is yes we do .It is often the first thing to be put out on Christmas day.

I love Christmas Eve. I have read ‘The Night Before Christmas’ to my two girls since they were two and three years old. We have never missed a night. Louie is 30 and Gabrielle is 32. Gabrielle is a Nun and lives with her Community in Dayton Ohio, and we live in Indianapolis, but we face time when we read the book so she is still a part of it. It brings me such joy to be able to do that with them and we will do it again this year. Thanks for the opportunity to enter this giveaway and please have a Blessed Christmas.

My favourite Christmas tradition by far is the annual “cookie decorating event” with my nieces and my new nephew. We prepare some cookies in advance and when the day comes we get everything out to decorate the cookies together and also will bake some more, but then other types. The kitches looks like a complete mess afterwards but we all love this fun get-together. This yeat we will have to send some “blank” cookies and sprinkles home to them, so that they can still do it – just without us. Ah well, next year ;o)

Hello from across the pond in Texas, Kate! One of my favorite Christmas traditions is making and decorating sugar cookies. We use vintage cookie cutters and some new ones. Most of the time, we are laughing at how bad our cookies look once they are decorated! We keep some to munch on and give others away to the fire department and police station. Getting together as a family makes our Christmas the best.

In our country we follow a lot of nice traditions. One of them is cutting an apple in half for each member of the family to see if there is a star of seeds showing the luck and health for the coming year.

One of our favorite traditions is to wrap 24 Christmas books and then each day in December until Christmas one of the children gets to choose a book to unwrap and read together as a family. Over the years we have collected some amazing Christmas stories. The hard things is that I end up doing most of the reading and I almost always end up crying, which is VERY entertaining for the kids, but difficult for me!

Living in the Southern Hemisphere means Christmas happens in the height (& heat!) of Summer for us. With no chimneys and no snow, we had to get creative with our children regarding Santa’s visit. We would take my husband’s bulkiest boots and sprinkle talcum powder around them to resemble Santa’s footprints, traveling from the front door to our Christmas tree. As they got older and began to question why the ‘snow’ never melted, we had to get even more creative, and gave them a long, elaborate, ‘scientific’ explanation of what happens to snow when it crosses the equator at high speed and transforms into what we know as talcum powder. Seeing their faces on Christmas morning, as they spotted Santa’s prints in the house, was my best gift ever!

Oh, I’m loving your stickers and would love to win these.

Maybe I’m loving everything about December, but especially the German tradition of Adventskalender all through December and baking cookies.
I also love my very own tradition of a cookie-swapping-party with friends: everybody bakes cookies for the group and brings them (and the recipe) to the party for all to enjoy. “Thanks” to corona, we won’t be meeting this year. ๐Ÿ™ (but still baking and swapping).

    Greetings from Germany,
    Melli
