This month the Creative Team are sharing their favourite birthday inspired pages and projects with us! I love creating doodles for birthdays and celebrations, they always have such a happy feel to them! You can see more birthday themed pages over in the Kate Hadfield Designs Gallery at The Lilypad.
Hip Hip Hooray by Kirstie
“I love this page, it just makes me smile knowing that my baby is growing into a wonderful young lady.”
Birthday Portraits by Melanie
“Kate’s birthday doodle packs are some of my favourites! They are so colourful and happy and festive! This layout and these photos have a special place in my heart because these photos were taken on my birthday by my niece … who was 3 at the time!”
Happy Birthday by Olga
“I have recently come to realize that I have a wealth of tiny photos at my disposal, from the time when my girls were tiny, and since they are teenagers who don’t always cooperate, I find that I am dipping into that wealth more frequently, which is a great coping mechanism for not getting cross with them now. So it’s a win-win.”
Cake! For me! by Lorry
“I love this one because Maggie has the best expression on her face!”
Happy Birthday Popeye by Keela
“I love this layout because the party animal cat was a perfect doodle to use for Popeye’s birthday layout!”
Zoo Hybrid Card & Invite by Christa
“This is my favorite! My friend’s daughter was turning 6 and not only did I make the invitation for her Birthday party at the Zoo, I also made the hybrid Birthday card. I love how it came out… I had to do some altering of the elephant to make the back side of the elephant and use that as the back of the card, and I think it came out great! The girls are getting older and I haven’t been making cards or invites for the last few years, but they were extra special. This one is a favorite as well as this one when she was having a 5 year old Princess Birthday:”

“My favorite one is the one I made for the second challenge of Kate I did. My boys became 3, 45 and 6
That ages ‘on a row’ made a fun page and picture idea. We had fun making those pictures. (the hubby tried to change his age to 34 ๐ )”
Birthday Party Invite by Kristina
“April is a pretty birthday heavy month in our family, as well as other celebrations. I was happy to use scrap supplies to make the kids’ joint party invitation this year!”
Blowing Out Candles by Rebecca
“My sweet boy – this was the year that he got why you blow out candles. Before this he liked to look at them and didn’t want them to go out!”
53 and Counting by Jenni
“When you get older, it’s the little things that mean the most. In my case, I have a grandson I adore, and he HATES having his picture taken. So the fact that he posed for this picture with me while we were out enjoying my birthday dinner was the best present I could have gotten.”
