Betsy’s Miss You Wolf Card

by Betsy Birge

Hello everyone!  Today I’m sharing this awesome card with you using the Animal Pals – Wolves Digital Stamp Set.  This stamp set is very versatile and there are so many possibilities with it – especially if you make your own sentiments.  Let me show you how I made my card!

I printed out my Wolves image, my sentiment and chose my background paper.

I starting coloring my image using a minimal amount of markers. I started on the adult wolf first. I kept adding layers to the adult wolf and when it was almost done I started on the small one.

This coloring was all about the layers.  I kept adding until I was happy with the both of them.

Once the coloring was done, I fussy cut the image and used a black marker along the edges. I also colored my sentiment as I had printed it out on white paper.  I used one of the warm grays to do this and then glazed over it with a brown marker to get the color to match the base of the card. Copic markers used:  100, Blender, W0, W1, W2, W3, W5, W7, C1, C2, C3, E43.

I made the base of my card with the kraft cardstock.  I also cut a smaller frame to out of the same card stock to go over the patterned paper which I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out.

I layered on the patterned paper first, then I used thin foam squares to attach the frame and the middle of the wolves.  I also used the same foam for the sentiment.  And that finished my card!

I had fun coloring this image and matching papers and vibes.  I hope I’ve inspired you to create with this much awaited digital stamp set!

Til next time…
