Pansy Hugs
Pansies are such a sign of spring. I've used the Signs of Spring to create this pansy swag. I wanted to keep it soft so I printed out 10 of the pansies 5 big and 5 a bit smaller. I colored and cut them out and trimmed the stems off the flowers. I used a lavender card base and adhered a strip of gingham paper that was torn on the left side of the base. I adhered a paper doily in Kraft color then adhered a smaller white doily that I die cut. I stamped a sentiment using purple ink and a stamp from my stash. I arranged my pansies in a swag popping some up on foam tape. Then I trimmed and added the leaves around the flowers. I added a small enamel heart above my sentiment, stickler to the pansy centers and small gold pearls around the design.
