My teen wanted a mood board and since she loves space, I had to incorporate the theme.
1. Use Kate's space doodles for the base. I also used her Everyday Kids to get the moody faces.
2. Print everything and painstakingly cut them all out. Think about how you still need to learn how to use your silhouette so you aren't cutting everything by hand.
3. Take a black pieces of paper and flick white and silver paint on it to create stars. Add glitter if desired.
4. Once dry, glue all of the pieces on and laminate. Laminate the spacecraft and dog separately and cut out.
5. Glue velcro on space board and on back of astronaut dog. Glue magnets on back of space board and space ship.
6. Now the spaceship can land on the mood of the day, a dry erase marker can be kept nearby to mark anxiety level on the rocket, and the astronaut dog can be removed and brought to a parent if child needs to talk and doesn't know how to start.
