It’s BYOC time again, my favourite time of the month! This time I just have one doodle pack, full of little lovey-dovey bits and bobs to add a touch of hand-drawn fun to your pages and projects. These Lovey Dovey Doodads are new in store today and 20% off all weekend (check out the buy more, save more deals for more savings on the BYOC collections).
You might remember Katy’s amazing Baseball birthday party that I featured here last summer, today I want to share another themed birthday party that Katy created using my digital products! Here are some photos of the space themed party she created using my Blast Off! kit for 4 year old twin boys Alex and Eiljah. I think this is such a great theme for little boys! (And big ones too!) Here’s the invitation:
The cake (isn’t this amazing?!):
Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful time with your nearest and dearest over the festive period! In between scoffing mince pies and opening gifts I managed to squeeze in some doodling time to create a couple of packs for January’s P365 / P52 / journalling themed BYOC.
What’s black and white and red all over? A sunburnt penguin! No. Wait. Rewind. What’s black and white and red all over? A newspaper! (red / read – geddit?!) LOVE that joke! Here’s my newsprint / ransom note inspired BYOC alpha, Snippets 2:
I also made some little journalling cards that are perfect for adding to your layouts, printing off and using on your hybrid projects or even for recording your memories on and slipping into page protectors! I really enjoyed making these, I think there will be more coming soon! These Doodled Journalers are new in the store and 20% off all weekend (check out the BYOC special deals for extra discounts!)
Are you doing P365 / P52 this year? I am going to be doing P365 (but not worrying if I miss a day and to be honest, I already plan on cheating a lot!) and starting again with Project Life too. I have a feeling it’s going to be a fun year! All the best for a wonderfully happy and healthy 2012!
Time for another creative spotlight feature, I LOVE doing these! This time it’s a lovely little tin that Rebecca made for her niece’s trip to summer camp, in case of emergencies 🙂 Here’s the lid:
and you open it up to find:
Oh yes, essential camp goodies! Here’s the inside of the tin with the goodies
eaten taken out:
And if that wasn’t cute enough, here’s the underside of the tin with a sweet message:
Isn’t this great?! I love the idea of a little camper opening their bag to find something like this hidden inside! Especially if it contains chocolate 🙂
Credits: the owl on the underside of the tin is from the Little Graduate doodle pack, everything else Rebecca used is from the Summer Camp collab with Kristin Sahlin (there’s also a coordinating blog freebie!):
I also wanted to pass on my congratulations to Rebecca for being published in:
with this double page spread:
Whoo!! Well done you, what a wonderful autumnal layout! 🙂
I don’t have any new releases today (I think last week’s BYOC and freebie frenzy burnt out my mojo!) so instead I’m taking the chance to share with you a closer look at a set of party favours created by Katy Larson. She used my School Sports doodles to make a wonderful baseball themed party:
Isn’t that cute?! Here’s some close-ups of the various bits and pieces:
I love how she added the team name to the cap and and “Go Team!” to the trophy for these cards!
Mmmmm cupcakes mmmmm…
I have to admit that I could write what I know about baseball on the back of a postage stamp (and still have rather a lot of room left) but I’m sure that any little baseball fan would LOVE these party favours! Almost as much as I’d love those cupcakes 🙂
Here are the doodles that Katy used for her baseball extravaganza!
