Hi everyone, it’s Nicole here (also known as Ink and Pixels around town) and I’m so excited to bring you a fun challenge this month!
How many emails do you get in a day? If you’re like me, probably a TON. Yet for some reason I can’t bring myself to unsubscribe from any of them. I just don’t want to miss a thing (and by thing, I mean a really good money saving coupon). Every so often an email will strike me and I’ll think to myself, “this would make a great page.” Sometimes it’s the colors; other times a trendy new design element, or even just the layout. You’ve probably had this thought on occasion, too. But how often do we actually have time to try it? Now is your chance! I received and email from the GAP a few weeks ago that inspired me to finally give this a whirl. I had a great time doing it and ended up with a page that I’m really happy with. Take a look.
Inbox Inspiration from the GAP:

My page:

Kate’s wonderful creative team played along to bring you even more inspiration:

What do you think? Would you like to try this? What if I said you could win a $15.00 gift card to Kate’s Shop? (Crowd roaring!) Hooray! I was hoping you would say yes so I took the liberty of making up this template to get you started.
The Challenge:
1. Download the template below. You can use it as is, flip it, resize it, anything you want to make it your own.
Download Inbox Inspiration Template
(download included PSD, Tiff, png and page file formats)
2. Create a digital layout, hybrid layout, or even a card. It can be any theme that you wish. The only requirement is to use Kate Hadfield’s products (your page should consist of at least 50% Kate’s products).
To Enter:
1. Post your page in Kate Hadfield’s gallery at The Lilypad
2. Stop back and leave a comment on this post, linking us back to your page by 31st March 2012.
We will choose a winner randomly from all the entries. Good luck everyone! Can’t wait to see what you all create. 🙂
Great layouts. Do you have a link to the “reading” kit?
Congratulations to Olga, this month’s random winner! Olga, please check your PMs over at The Lilypad for your prize!
Thanks to everyone who played along, I hope you’ll be inspired by April’s template too!
I have done a page for the challenge but try as I might to register at The Lilypad I can’t seem to get the anti-spam words accepted. 🙁
Hi Anne, I’m so sorry you’re having problems registering at The Lilypad! I’ve just seen your message over on Facebook too, I’ll add you into the draw with your DT layout instead, I’ll be doing the draw first thing tomorrow morning to allow for the time difference for our American chums!
Just let me know if you have any more problems getting your account verified at TLP and I’ll look into it for you. Thanks for playing along with the challenge!
