I’ve had a few questions recently about the different file types that I offer in my digital stamp packs (and in my bundles and in my Educational Use products over at Teachers Pay Teachers) so I thought I’d give you a quick run down on all the different options! Each illustration in my stamp packs comes in three different formats:
- LINE ART (black outline, transparent infill and background, png image)
- DIGITAL STAMPS (black outline with white fill inside the drawing, transparent background around the outside of the illustration, png image)
- JPEG (black outline on a solid white background, no transparency, jpeg image)
The most versatile types are the Line Art and Digital Stamp versions, although I also include the JPEG versions as a number of customers have also asked for them! The Digital Stamps are my favourite option, they are perfect for layering on top of each other to create more complex scenes without the need to erase any overlapping lines (in the Line Art example below you can see that the weed is overlapping the edges of the fish!)
Line Art images are very useful if you want to create a line drawing on a coloured background. It’s really easy to recolour the Line Art in your graphics program to create more dramatic drawing effects, such as a white drawing on a black background, or a rainbow gradient effect!
I hope this helps explains the different options included in the Digital Stamp packs! If you have any other questions about the stamps, please leave me a comment below. Happy stamping!
