Custom Doodle Contest: take two!

Kate Hadfield Designs Single Doodle Contest 2015

It’s time for another Custom Doodle Contest! This time, instead of winning a complete themed pack, I am offering the chance to win a single doodle of your choice! So, if you have always wanted a drawing of an elephant wearing a tutu, a giant pepperoni pizza with mustard or even gorilla on a motorbike, now is your chance to have me create the perfect doodle for you!

All you need to do to enter is leave a comment on this blog post letting me know what single doodle you would like me to create. The winners will be chosen by a random draw after the closing date and then I will get in touch so we can work together on your doodle! (Many thanks to those of you who suggested this spin off to the contest!) The closing date for entries is midnight EST Sunday 31st May 2015, winners will be picked and notified the following day.

Best of luck, I can’t WAIT to see what you would like me to draw!

I used to travel a lot so would love a doodled world map – maybe a bit old fashioned with sea monsters and other mythical stuff added! – and pins or markers to put on places I’ve been!

I would LOVE a dinosaur-either a brontosaurus or a triceratops, in girly colors like pinks-turquoise-purples and blues

My granddaughter LOVES dinos, her bedroom is FULL (not kidding!) of dinos. She is 6 1/2 and has wanted to be a Paleontologist for several years. It’s hard to find dnios that are not targeted at just boys.

Thanks for the chance, lots of great ideas here!!

I would love a doodle of Mother Hulda (Frau Holle in German). I’m planning on doing a fairytale sequence in school, so it would be perfect 🙂

There are so many awesome requests! I love the phonics sentence the teacher suggested and the grandma holding a baby so much! I can’t possibly come up with anything better but I’ll still toss my hat in and say I’d like either a doodle of my parents who are in their 80’s or of my daughter holding my cat. I hope that counts as a single thing because both of those subjects are rarely ever separate, lol. 🙂

I hope I explain this correctly, but I would love a really fancy ornate frame. I have been inspired to make my school theme “Make Your Own Masterpiece” for next year, meaning make yourself into your own masterpiece – whatever you want to be, just go for it. We are a Title 1 school which means most don’t have money and/or support at home. I would love to have that really fancy frame style – like in an art museum – to use for classroom decor but also to make some lessons encouraging them to dream of the future.

I would love a Rottweiler puppy trying to pick up a huge bone that is too big for him. I want him to look like he is growling to protect his bone, but in a nice way 🙂

I would love love love a little boy (with maybe a blue t-shirt with a puzzle piece) walking with his service dog (yellow lab with red vest ideally). My son is on the spectrum and we had a service dog fro him for too short a time and we’re waiting for his successor. I took lots of photos of them together and it would be fun to have an actual doodle to represent their bond!

I would LOVE a doodle drawn similarly to your other child doodles of a kid dressed in blue and gold (t-shirt, jeans or shorts) with a viking hat on his/her head. Our school mascot is a viking and since I decorate the computer lab with your doodles for every theme/holiday each year, having a Viking child would be awesome! – Do you ever do sell custom doodles (do not have to be exclusive)? I remember someone used to do this.

I would really, really, really love to see a general doodle of the Portland Head Lighthouse. I don’t know if there are copyright laws, so it doesn’t have to look exactly like it, but just a general doodle that resembles it. If you’ve never seen it, this is what it looks like (there are several photos you can scroll through): http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g40554-d108101-Reviews-Portland_Head_Light-Cape_Elizabeth_Maine.html#photos
