Today, I’m sharing a roundup of a few examples of how my nativity crafts have been used in various classrooms around the world. I can’t tell you how proud I am that these little guys are so well travelled!
There’s such a lovely variety of nativity scenes here, quite a few of them have used the stable and palm tree illustrations from my Nativity clip art pack to create their own stables too! There are a few shoe boxes being put to good use to create the body of the stable along with an egg box manger as well.
This craft was a favourite in our house when my kids were little and it’s lovely to see it being used as classroom projects, I have a couple of teacher friends who use it year after year to create nativity sets that their students take home at the start of the Christmas holidays. The shoe box stables come in handy for transporting the characters home safely! Others use it as a collaborative class project and a useful storytelling aid in the run up to Christmas.
If you’re looking for ideas for Christmas craft projects and display for your classroom this year I hope that these give you some inspiration! Click through to the original posts on Instagram for all the info.
If you’d like to make your own version of the nativity scene with your class, you can read more about it here: Printable Nativity Craft. I’d love to see your version if you or your students make one, so please feel free to tag me on socials or drop me an email to share your nativity scene!
