This past week, 12 artists from the Teachers pay Teachers Clipart Tribe came together to work together on our first collaborative project! This project began with a simple discussion and turned into an amazing collaborative piece of art that you can download piece by piece! Michelle from The 3am Teacher kicked off the collaboration by creating Frank’s head and then each artist added a piece of their choosing to the evolving image and the result is this Franken-doodle-stein (and his bride!)
Each piece of our Franken-doodle-stein has been formatted in POSTER size for you to download, print, and assemble to display in your homes or classrooms this week.
Can you guess which part is mine? (My daughter spotted my contribution straight away!) By the time the image reached me, Mr Frank was complete and I couldn’t help but think that he was a little bit lonely, so I made a start on creating him a little lady friend (I like to call her Frankenella!). Here’s my contribution:
How to download your Franken-doodle-stein
- Download the poster-sized PDF file at my Teachers pay Teachers store (and hop round the other stores to collect all the poster sized pieces to allow you to create your own Franken-doodle-stein poster!)
- Alternatively, you can download just the png version of Frankenella’s head here, both in colour and black and white stamp format (perfect for digital scrapbooking & crafting!)
How to create your Franken-doodle-stein poster
Hop around the links to collect all the PDF files to complete your display, then print them out on heavy paper and cut out each piece (a cutting machine would be perfect for this!). Then layer them all together to create your Halloween characters. You could even have your students put the pieces together to create your display, or you could mix and match them for a really fun result! Here is the completed poster sized Franken-Doodle-Stein all printed, cut and put together by Michelle from The 3am Teacher. The finished size is about 19 inches by 19 inches – not too big and not too small!
Share your finished poster on social media using the hashtag #tptfrankenposter so we can all see how they turned out!
The next stop on the blog hop
The next step on the blog-hop is Christine O’Brien – click on over there is see which part she created! If you get lost at any point during the hop you can visit Michelle’s blog for all the links!
More Halloween Freebies
Here are some other Halloween themed free printables that you might enjoy, both created by my pal Sara! The Bat Poop Baggies are a big favourite in our house, everyone seems to really enjoy snacking on the bat droppings! Tasty.
