World Cup fever has arrived at my house, despite the disappointing England results so far! Today’s new releases are there result of my passion for football and are also the last of my Custom Doodle Contest winning packs! There were so many great suggestions from the contest that although I’ve created doodles for all the official winners, I will also be working on lots of the other theme suggestions too so if you entered the contest, you may see your idea being doodled soon!
There’s a decided World Cup flavour to my What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday photos this week! It has been good to get back to some doodling after concentrating on some other projects for the past few weeks. Here’s what’s been on my desk this week:
- Football doodles
- promarkers and pitt pens (as always!)
- World Cup wall chart (my daughter and I are diligently filling in all the scores after every match – keeping my fingers crossed for a better England result on Thursday!)
- England deely boppers and flowery lei thing to (a) show support for our boys and (b) embarrass the male members of my family by doing (a)
The England paraphernalia even made a trip to Old Trafford earlier in the month to watch Soccer Aid: Come on England!
I’m excited to announce the winner of last month’s blog challenge! The random number generator chose Keri9040’s Cole layout as last month’s winner! Congratulations Keri, please check your PMs over at The Lilypad for details of how to collect your prize! Apologies to those of you who were struggling to leave comments, since the latest wordpress update more comments seem to be getting caught in the spam filter, whether they are spam or not! I’m looking into the issue at the moment but I do check the comments every day so it shouldn’t take too long for me to approve your entry if the spam filter does grab it! Thanks to everyone who got in touch to let me know there was an issue.
And now, on to this month’s challenge! This month’s template was created by creative team member Jenna and offers LOADS of scope to personalise your page and really make it your own (I especially like the big circle – perfect for a special photograph or for telling a long story!):
Every year the end of the US school year seems to catch me unawares (my children don’t finish for the summer until the end of July!) but this year I managed to create a new Graduation themed collection, almost on time for those first US graduates! I have two new doodle packs out today, with coordinating stamp packs and some big bundle offers to help your pennies go further! Graduation is a new set of fun and colourful graduation themed doodles, whereas the coordinating Little Graduates is a multi-cultural collection of happy little graduates (and was created for one of my Custom Doodle Contest winners)!
Also available is a Graduation Bundle (Graduation doodles and stamps), a Little Graduates Bundle (Little Graduates doodles and stamps) and a Graduation BIG Bundle containing all the graduation themed doodles and stamps!

Hi everyone, I’m stepping in for Nicole this month to bring you the monthly blog challenge! Thank you to everyone who has entered any of the previous challenges, it’s always so exciting for me to see all the different interpretations of the templates and the super pages you create with them pop up in my gallery! And now – on to last month’s winner: the random generator picked lorryfach as April’s winner, with her fun “Two Menus” page! Congratulations Lorry, please check your PMs over at TLP for details of how to claim your prize!
When I am stuck for ideas for my layouts, I sometimes go back through older pages and see if I can scraplift my own work to create a new layout. This month’s template is based on one of my layouts of my son whizzing around LegoLand in these little lego cars:
Here’s the template I made from this page:
